Summary
Programs, sets-up and operates computer numerical control (CNC) Vertical Mills to perform machine functions.
Position Requirements
Must be able to read and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, layout, job order and related technical data for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and determines setup procedures, control settings, material requirements, machining methods and sequence of operations. High school education or its equal may be waived at company discretion. Knowledge of math used in manufacturing, and of simple gages preferred. This is a physically demanding position requiring moderately heavy lifting, dexterity and good mechanical skills. Must have a good attendance and clean safety record.
