A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in central Connecticut is now searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Behavioral Health to join their award-winning healthcare organization. 

This community-based acute care hospital is home to over 150 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of inpatient, outpatient, primary care, and skilled nursing services. This network services more than 20 locations and supports a growing team of 100 experienced providers throughout the central Connecticut regions. The organization combines a dedicated team of healthcare providers that strive to enhance the overall health of all patients and community residents. 

Reporting to the Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager Behavioral Health will oversee the clinical and administrative functions of two inpatient psychiatric units that service both adult and geriatric patients. The Nurse Manager Behavioral Health provides direct clinical supervision, manages department staffing and scheduling, has oversight of department patient flow, ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, assists with department projects, helps the Director with department budgets, and participates in various committees throughout the organization.

What Makes You Awesome:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN from an accredited 
• Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Connecticut or ability to obtain
• Prior leadership experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting
