Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Reporting to the Nurse Director Perioperative Services, the Nurse Manager Operating Room will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the surgical department. This unit currently operates 6 OR’s and performs roughly 2,000 inpatient procedures each year. The Nurse Manager has oversight of department staffing, participates in recruitment, monitors and evaluates staff performance, develops training plans, implements departmental policies and procedures, works to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, manages department budgets, and participates in various hospital committees.
