Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Position Summary
As a Clinical Manager at NHOMS & MassOMS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless daily operation of our office while providing essential support to the surgical team. This dynamic position requires a candidate with proven management experience, ideally within a dental setting, who possesses the skills to lead and inspire a team to achieve exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Take charge of the daily operations of the oral surgery practice, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient experience.
? Lead and motivate a dedicated team of clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Provide guidance and support to enhance individual and collective performance.
? Assist the surgical team, demonstrating a hands-on approach to support clinical procedures and maintain a high standard of patient care.
? Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control measures, and best practices in oral surgery.
? Identify opportunities for professional growth within the team and provide training to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.
? Collaborate with front office staff to address patient concerns, inquiries, and ensure a smooth patient journey from scheduling to post-operative care.
? Efficiently manage resources, including equipment, supplies, and staffing, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
? Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions to overcome challenges and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Abilities:
? A strong motivation to learn, coupled with a genuine passion for healthcare and direct patient care.
? Previous experience in dental or oral surgery is a requirement for this position.
? Proven experience in managing a medical practice or clinical coordinator role is mandatory.
? Familiarity with WinOMS or Open Dental is preferred.
? Proficiency in basic computer applications such as email and Microsoft Office is necessary.
? The role may require occasional travel, and candidates should be willing to accommodate such needs.
? Demonstrated follow-through, effective communication skills, and reliability are indispensable qualities for success in this role.
Qualifications (must be able to obtain):
? NH MedTech (for NH Assistants only).
? CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
? Radiology certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, ensuring proficiency in capturing diagnostic images.
? Massachusetts Dental Assistant License, meeting state regulatory requirements.
? DAANCE certification is preferred, or the ability to achieve it within 1 year of hire, indicating a commitment to professional development in dental anesthesia and sedation.
Compensation:
? Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
