Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Surgical Services Nurse Manager will guide a close-knit team consisting of OR Charge Nurses and Staff RNs. Responsible for various departments including the Operating Room, PACU, Same-Day Outpatient Services, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia, the Surgical Services Nurse Manager will play a key role in providing collaborative leadership. This involves overseeing the planning, directing, integrating, and coordinating of activities to meet departmental objectives and uphold high-quality services. The Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will handle personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements, and strategic planning to ensure the seamless functioning of the Surgery department.
The Surgical Services Nurse Manager must be Oregon RN Licensed, BSN prepared, current BLS certification, and more than 2 years of Perioperative Leadership experience. This role will demand a combination of clinical expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of future patient care and safety within the surgical services department.
