Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. In this exciting role as Wound Services Manager, this qualified nursing leader will be responsible for budget planning, scheduling, daily operations, and 10-20 FTEs. The Wound Care Manager will lead a department that treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow, and / or other problems. Knowledge in wound care, ostomy, and therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine is a huge plus.
Qualifications of the Wound Care Manager include a current and valid Registered Nursing License, a Wound Care Certification (CWCN, CWOCN, or WCC), and experience in MedSurg, Critical Care, or Surgical Services. Further qualifications include prior leadership experience, ability to oversee conflict resolutions, critical thinking, and strong communication skills.
