CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER manages the collection and analysis of clinical outcomes data to develop clinical process improvement initiatives. Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
    • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
    • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
    • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
    • Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business.
    • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
    • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
    • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
    • Lead research and development of proof of concept solutions.
    • Package and support deployment of releases.
    • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
    • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
    • Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
    • Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Provide third-level support to business users.
    • Research and evaluate a variety of software products.
    • Continuous education and improvement of skills in latest technologies.
    • Provide on-call product support as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience with automated testing Experience with agile development methodologies including experience with the Scrum SDLC.
    • Experience with architecture, debugging, performance, and optimization.
    • Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
    • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
    • Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or International, up to 10%


    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum years of work experience: 5 years
      • 5-7 years of software development experience required
      • Expert-level experience in the applicable technologies of their team (Java, C/C , etc).
      • Previous experience in a technical leadership role desired, but not required.
    • Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience
      • BS in Computer Science or a related discipline, or 10 years’ experience as a Software Developer
