Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the Lab Operations Manager will oversee all Laboratory operations and lead an experienced team of 5 clinical lab scientists and 4 certified phlebotomy technicians.
The Lab Operations Manager will enjoy a working role that shares bench work and evening call with the rest of their staff. They will spearhead the department’s administrative and financial functions and assist with hiring and training of new staff members. The ideal candidate will be ASCP certified and will have blood banking experience.
