As the Director of Perioperative Services, you will lead and inspire excellence in the following departments:

• Surgical Pre-Op Holding Area
• Surgical Post Anesthesia Care Unit
• Heart and Vascular Prep and Recovery Area
• Pre-operative and Post Operative Care Area for Interventional Radiology
• Pre-Admission Testing

This leader will have the opportunity to be part of a growing team as this service line is making big strides, including opening a brand new heart and vascular center. This role will have the unique opportunity to work within the perioperative service line as well as the heart and vascular service line, making this a fantastic opportunity for collaboration and career growth. This Nurse Director will have oversight of 100 FTEs, across more than 50 prep/recover/pacu beds. As on of the highest patient indexes in the US, this role needs a strong leader who works well in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Requirements: To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Current encumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse..
• Certification in a professional organization required or obtained within six months of hiring.
• Prior acute care hospital experience within perioperative services (ideally PACU/Pre-OP/Same Day Surgery)
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on effective communication and team collaboration.
