Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns in a 22-bed NICU
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Specialists across multiple departments
• Contribute to comprehensive care plans for NICU patients
• Serve as an educator and resource for nursing staff, patients, and families
• Maintain expertise in NICU nursing practices and procedures

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in nursing (MSN)
• Possess a valid RN license in the State of California
• Have a minimum of three years of NICU nursing experience
• Hold Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Maintain National Certification in NICU nursing
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics)
