Allergy and Asthma Specialist Doctors is a premier healthcare provider with locations in Pasadena, West Covina, and Glendale, California. Our team comprises multiple board-certified allergy subspecialist physicians, a nurse practitioner, and a physician assistant. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking to hire a motivated Nurse Practitioner specializing in allergy to join our outstanding team. We pride ourselves on offering a blend of in-person and telemedicine visits to accommodate our patients' needs. Our practice provides a full range of standard allergy services, such as allergy prick and patch testing, spirometry, and immunotherapy administration. We look forward to the addition of an additional Nurse Practitioner who will join us in our mission to deliver exceptional allergy and asthma care to our communities.

Responsibilities:

- Provide allergy care services to patients under the supervision of a physician

- Conduct physical examinations and perform allergy diagnostic tests

- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions

- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions

- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records

- Participate in case management and care coordination activities

Requirements:

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California

- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

- 1 year minimum Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in an allergy clinic setting

- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as Practice fusion preferred but not required

- Strong clinical skills including suturing, medical documentation, and case management

- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $66.18 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
