Developing and implementing patient care plans with hospital leadership including, conducting patient assessments, determining Speech therapy needs, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans and working in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure quality and comprehensive care will be a large part of the Speech Therapists schedule. Additional responsibilities will include providing education to patients and their families on the recommended therapeutic exercises and activities as well as documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records. The Therapist will be overseeing the Speech Therapy team including talented aide's, experienced therapists and excited students.
