Reporting to the Nurse Director Inpatient Services, the Regional Surgical Care Nurse Manager will oversee operations at two clinical sites with 55 beds in total. Both units provide pre and post surgical care for hip and knee replacements, spine surgeries, and other orthopedic services such as physical therapy, and much more. The Regional Surgical Care Nurse Manager is responsible for managing staff schedules, providing mentorship and education amongst nursing staff, monitors department performance, maintains compliance with all state and federal regulations, and manages department budgets.
