Assists users with system navigation, troubleshooting and patient monitoring issues. Being a Clinical Information System Specialist collaborates with leaders across functions and disciplines to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical systems and services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Information System Specialist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Health Information Systems Administrator/Clinical Quality Analyst
Full-time (40 Hours per week)
General Responsibility:
Analyzes and interprets applicable data to provide insight into and help drive quality improvement outcomes. Guides strategy and operations by providing recommendations regarding data, format, and accessibility of reports to maximize knowledge and decision making based on the information available.
Significant Job Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Bachelors’ Degree in health administration or another related field required. Or Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in Health Information Technology (HIT). Or, any combination of education and experience that shall be substantially equivalent to the above education and experience. Working knowledge of NextGen Products preferred. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Data visualization applications, SQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and related data analytics toolsets. Ability to create queries and stored procedures. Project management experience or certification preferred.
