Your Role With Us:
The Clinical Practice System Supervisor is responsible for leading the work of the people and processes associated with managing clinical and nursing data that impacts clinical practice and/or the quality of patient care and the Magnet program; including reporting and other analyses as requested with responsibility for the accuracy of such data analyses.
The supervisor will oversee daily operations of the nursing quality data system analyst II, staffing and scheduling and contract labor system analyst I, and the business systems specialist III to remain compliant with Joint Commission regulatory standards for contracted labor and benchmarking with the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI). The position requires knowledge of nationally accepted measures to assess the quality of nursing care, Magnet standards and Oregon staffing laws.
The Supervisor will monitor data production schedules and function as a backup for all areas of supervision, maintaining the skillset to meet requirements. Ensures maximum effectiveness of processes within Clinical Practice Support through assisting workgroups in identifying opportunities for process or practice innovation, analyzing relevant project data and implementing process improvements. Provide teaching of concepts, tools and methodologies to nursing leadership and serves as a contributor for Magnet redesignation and professional governance. Support of chartered professional governance events. The Clinical Practice System Supervisor reports to the Director of Clinical Practice Support and Magnet.
