Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation per established clinical practices. Under the supervision of the Electrophysiology Physicians, the Device clinic coordinator will function with a great deal of autonomy in the day-to-day operations of the pacemaker/ICD clinic. The device clinic coordinator will perform trans-telephonic pacemaker checks in the office, perform pacemaker evaluations and implantable cardioverted defibrillator follow ups.
Education
Bachelor degree in nursing, or related required.
Experience/Skills: Critical care/telemetry experience required. Cardiac Cath/EP Lab and/or pacemaker clinic experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, dependability, and strong interpersonal skills.
