The Medical Laboratory Technician will report directly to the Laboratory Manager. Supported by a large team of senior laboratory technicians, this person will join a fantastic hospital in their laboratory as well as have the opportunity to grow in their skills and career.
The Medical Laboratory Technician will be diligent in performing a variety of levels of general testing within the lab. This requires having a high level of technical understanding in how to correctly perform and evaluate testing. In addition, the Medical Laboratory Technician will be able to work independently and efficiently. Most importantly, the Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for implementing critical thinking skills and be a team-player within the department. The ideal candidate will be MLS or MT certified with ASCP.
