The Assistant Director of Plant Operations will report to the tenured Chief Executive Officer and work in collaboration with other healthcare leaders to maintain everyday operations of the hospital. This position encompasses oversight of three departments; Facilities Management, Safety and Disaster Management. The Director of Plant Operations will supervise facility maintenance managers and plant operator leads.
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines, advising on safety measures, conducting risk assessments and implementing preventative measures will fall to the Assistant Director of Plant Operations. Additional responsibilities will include inspecting the facility to identify safety, health and environmental risks while implementing inspection policies and procedures to address risks.
