Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages professional services for assigned projects concerning design, construction, development, or installation of hospital buildings and facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining security, custodial, utilities, and maintenance to support Fujifilm Cellular Dynamics Inc’s (FCDI) operations in Research and Development (R&D), Discovery Research Manufacturing and Therapeutics cGMP Manufacturing at its various locations. This individual will supervise, lead, train and assist a team of personnel and vendors that are responsible for maintenance and repairs within FCDI facilities. In addition, this position will assist with capital projects, program improvements, sustainability, EHS, and business continuity.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science related field or equivalent experience.
10 years of related experience with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities.
Experience scheduling contractors, internal resources, and materials to support planned and unplanned system and area shutdowns for maintenance activities.
Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
Familiarity with the FDA Electronic Records and Signatures regulation (21CFR Part 11) and cGMP compliant maintenance and calibration program
Strong leadership capability and ability to mentor and train others
Excellent organizational, resource planning, and problem-solving skills required.
Proven ability to schedule and coordinate routine and non-routine work and projects activities requiring multiple tasks and follow-up.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the company and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail, adherence to procedures and effective communication skills across diverse employee and vendor audiences.
Ability to use data analytics to drive business decisions and influence other stakeholders and leadership.
Use of MS WORD, MS Excel, MS Project, CMMS, BAS, and database type programs.
