Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages professional services for assigned projects concerning design, construction, development, or installation of hospital buildings and facilities. Oversees all aspects of construction including progress, timing, costs and contracts. Being a Clinical Facilities Planning Manager directs construction, equipment installation, renovation and redesigning projects. Works with hospital departments to ensure design changes, equipment specifications/substitutions, purchasing and accounting procedures are in alignment with business objectives. Additionally, Clinical Facilities Planning Manager develops and designs feasibility studies for review. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Facilities Planning Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Our Lexington office is looking for a highly motivated, design and client-focused Project Manager/Architect (must be a registered Architect or in the process to become registered). Candidate must have a strong design sensibility, excellent communication skills and be able to work well with clients and people at all levels of the firm. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for career growth and is ready to manage small to mid-size projects and support larger higher education, housing and historic preservation projects.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
    Background/Education
    • Professional (NAAB Accredited) Degree in Architecture
    • Licensed Architect or in process of becoming licensed
    • Must have 10 years of experience working on/managing projects in an architectural design firm
    Knowledge and Skillset Required
    • Excellent Team leadership skills.
    • Ability to form strong client relationships.
    • Experience working with clients and team members architectural design spectrum to solve problems of all types: design, production, estimates, schedules, details, etc.
    • Proficient with Revit for design and production
    • Skilled in analytical thinking to support the design process
    • Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment
    • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace is an essential function of the job.
