Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages professional services for assigned projects concerning design, construction, development, or installation of hospital buildings and facilities. Oversees all aspects of construction including progress, timing, costs and contracts. Being a Clinical Facilities Planning Manager directs construction, equipment installation, renovation and redesigning projects. Works with hospital departments to ensure design changes, equipment specifications/substitutions, purchasing and accounting procedures are in alignment with business objectives. Additionally, Clinical Facilities Planning Manager develops and designs feasibility studies for review. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Clinical Facilities Planning Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Facilities Planning Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Here’s the Scoop - Summary:

    The Demand Planning Manager serves as the primary communications and planning link between the Champion Petfoods’ Sales and fulfillment functions: Operations, Supply Chain, and Ingredient Management. They also own the global demand forecast and provide budget versus actual calculations to drive continuous improvement.

    Location: Multiple Locations and/or Remote: Edmonton, AB, CA or Auburn, KY, US

    Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Regional Sales teams to generate a monthly global forecast and longer term forecast.
    • Leverage Demand Planning software to provide insights into forecast accuracy and educate regional teams to utilize Demand Planner.
    • Challenge assumptions based on available market data, statistics, market trends, order patterns and dynamics to form the consensus demand forecast process.
    • Improve and tighten impact of finished goods demand changes to ingredient management.
    • Analyze continuity plan in terms of commitments from suppliers (level loading schedules). Help assist in developing a level loaded Production plan.
    • Support the communication of forecast and inventory changes as necessary.
    • Monitor and provide Ingredient Management with important changes on the continuity plan.
    • Provide additional support for planning and Kitchen schedule integration.
    • Generate forecast, demand, other reports as required.
    • Maintaining documentation and operating procedures for demand processes.
    • Analyze and uphold accurate and detailed rolling demand plans while monitoring Sales to ensure product availability.
    • Assist in managing inventory targets and making recommendations about changes to Inventory targets based on changes in demand or Sales trends.
    • Coordinate necessary action plans with affected departments.
    • Collaborate with functional experts in order to facilitate and improve inventory best practices.
    • Drive the daily diagnostics of inventory, and determine root causes of errors.
    • Ensure that plans are followed as expected and develop corrective actions in conjunction with other related departments when variances are discovered.
    • Other duties as required or assigned.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    What are we looking for?

    • Bachelor's Degree in a Commerce or Business related field.
    • 8 years’ experience in Demand Planning and/or Forecasting.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications as well as Demand Management software such as Infor.
