We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team as a Clinical Payment Specialist in Columbus, OH. The Clinical Payment Specialist role will maintain payments and historical entry to allow for accurate and complete processing of timely payments, including compliance reporting and financial reconciliations. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and maintain necessary payment documentation according to departmental policies and procedures. * Ability to read and interpret legal agreements for payment terms and milestones and understand how this impacts overall financial initiatives. * Ensure compliance with office of ethics and compliance, procurement, finance, legal regulations, and corporate policies. * New Vendor Set Up for all research and development. * Work closely with Procurement, office of ethics and compliance, and Clinical Development. * Understands Abbott systems and procedures, including any new and revised procurement initiatives. * Responsible for timely communication of payment issues to teams and management. * Understands financial procedures and budgeting techniques to streamline overall business process. * Procurement subject matter expert for all research and development; interface with global procurement to keep informed of the latest policies and guidelines. * Track and reconcile budget expenditures. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as with a team. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong drive for results. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. |
