Clinical Ethicist offers guidance to patients, their families, and professional staff on ethical, legal and policy issues and concerns stemming from clinical interactions between health care professionals and patients. Provides guidance to the institutional ethics committee pertaining to policy formulation and educational and case review activities. Being a Clinical Ethicist develops institutional policies concerning ethical issues such as "do-not-resuscitate" and "withdrawal of life-support". Requires a master's degree or doctorate related to health ethics. Additionally, Clinical Ethicist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Clinical Ethicist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     In the role of Hospital Controller, this talented individual will be expected to lead and direct financial undertakings such as financial reporting, forecasting, accounting, payor contract management, control monitoring, and other financial activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel coupled with prior experience in cash flow forecasts, year-end audits, and budgetary reports will make for quick interviews!
