Reporting to the Nursing Director of Critical Care Services, the Nurse Educator will be in charge of development and implementation of staff orientation and education. This person will support clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced department with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive medical and support staff.
The Educator is responsible for development, coordination, delivery and/or evaluation of patient care and educational activities for the Critical Care staff including RNs and technicians as well as other support staff. This person will develop and support educational initiatives, serve as a mentor to new leaders, and be a champion for quality improvement throughout the department.
