Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Description:

    Our Per Diem RN Clinical Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology.

    Qualified Clinical Educators/Registered Nurses will be tasked with educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on a ByPass Syringe.

    You are responsible for education only; no sales responsibilities, and no patient care.

    This role requires national travel. There will be an average of 2 assignments per month, ranging 4-5 days per assignment.

    Responsibilities:

    ·        Provide peer-to-peer education and consultation to RN, Physician, and other healthcare staff in support of end-user education needs in the healthcare setting

    ·        Assess customer needs and assist with resolving issues stemming from lack of medical device knowledge or understanding of the particular product

    ·        Assist in the delivery of medical device-related in-service education to support key customers

    ·        Follow-up with key accounts and customers to assess unmet education and clinical needs as it relates to successful medical device implementation

    Job Requirements:

    ·        RN Degree - Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred

    ·        Active and Unrestricted RN License required

    ·        3 years ICU, critical care, or oncology experience required

    ·        Experience working with central lines/invasive lines required

    ·        Experience working with blood culture collection systems required, experience with Bypass syringe a plus

    ·        Experience with infection control protocols and blood cultures required

    ·        Must be comfortable with basic software programs

    ·        Leadership experience (Committee or process improvement) preferred

    ·        Availability to travel nationally 2 weeks per month

    ·        Duties may require compliance with client and hospital requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated

    ·        Provide clinical and professional expertise to end users including RN staff, Physicians and other healthcare professionals in a setting without patient care

    ·        Serve as an education resource on the particular device

    The potential base pay range for this role is $36.00-$40.00 per hour.
