Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. A unique opportunity is immediately available for the Cardiac Cath Lab RN Director in Northern Louisiana! This reputable health system is actively seeking a strong cath lab nurse leader to join its tight-knit team of RNs, physicians, and techs.
Reporting directly to the AVP of Cardiovascular Services, the Nurse Director Cardiac Cath Lab will have the wonderful opportunity to provide strong hands-on leadership to a team of 35 FTEs and 4 direct reports for 4 cath labs and 1 hybrid room. The Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Director will demonstrate their expertise in EP Electrophysiology and TAVR, as these are a large portion of the procedures performed at this facility. This role will serve as an advocate for staff and patients, working hand-in-hand with tenured cardiologists, working collaboratively to provide top-notch patient care.
REQUIREMENTS: BSN Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Active Louisiana State (Compact State) RN License, Progressive cath lab leadership experience, All-encompassing cath lab experience from pre-procedure, intra-op, and post-procedure.
