Clinical Educator jobs in Mobile, AL

Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Anatomy Educator
  • University of South Alabama
  • Mobile, AL FULL_TIME
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Ph.D., M.D./D.O., or equivalent terminal degree in the biomedical sciences
    • Evidence of substantial formal training in human anatomy

    Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with one or more of the following additional attributes:
    • Experience in teaching clinically-integrated anatomy or other anatomical sciences (embryology, gross anatomy, histology, neuroanatomy)
    • Formal training or experience in educational theory, instructional design, and/or evaluation and assessment
    • A track record of scholarship related to biomedical or educational sciences
    • Experience with computer, virtual, or simulation-based instruction
    Physician candidates applying must be Board Certified (ABMS recognized), must qualify for an unrestricted Alabama Medical License, and must agree to obtain an unrestricted Alabama Medical License within 2 years of employment.
