Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Clinical Respiratory Manager will oversee inpatient respiratory therapy care as well as outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation and cardiac patient rehabilitation. The Clinical Respiratory Manager will work closely with hospital leadership, Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, and Providers to ensure appropriate patient care.
In addition, the Clinical Respiratory Manager will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and training RT staff as well we managing the department budget, and inventory, and ensuring department compliance with policies and procedures.
