Join our team as a day shift, full-time,  Surgical Services  Clinical Professional Educator/ Registered Nurse in Topeka, Kansas. 

The expectation is that this person will cover OR, PACU, PRE OP, Cath Lab, Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Educator orients new staff to the position and department .
• Plans and conducts various educations activities for the staff.
• Effectively communicates both in writing and verbally.
• Reports to the Director of designee.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• 4-Year Degree
• Current Kansas RN Licensure
• Three years experience as a clinical staff nurse with a least one year experience in area required.

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Masters in Education or Nursing
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
