Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Position Summary:
    The Clinical Educator is responsible for identifying the training needs of BrightView clinical staff, developing and implementing group and individual training, and training related to clinical care in accordance with accreditation and regulatory standards.

    Essential Job Duties:
    • Implements organizational-wide training program to fulfill all state, federal, and regulatory body training clinical requirements
    • Develops and implements training specific to new clinical staff
    • Collaborates with department-level leadership to identify training needs and assists in the development and implementation of training material
    • Evaluates the effectiveness of training activities and recommends new training methods when indicated
    • Manages assignments of clinical staff training in Relias
    • Provides one-on-one training to clinical staff members when needed
    • Collaborates with center leadership to ensure adequate competencies and documentation of competency is in place
    • Facilitates develops and implements special projects as assigned by the Director of Training and Staff Development and senior leadership
    • Will travel to BrightView centers to provide in-person training, as needed
    • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Required Education/Degree:
    Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred

    Required Certification/License:
    Independent licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)

    Required Work Experience:
    Three years of relevant work experience
