Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Summary:
This position will assist with planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the education program, in response to the needs of patients and staff in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position is responsible for the hospice, home health, palliative care, and administration programs. Responsible for data entry and maintenance of the Education systems and files. Responsible for developing and teaching educational sessions both for orientation and on-going education. Responsible for completing competencies with staff. This position reports to the Director of Education.
Full-time: Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm
Pay Rate starting at $68,000 /annually (pay is based on like experience/requirements)

Required: Current RN license in the state of Kansas, with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Collaborative team player with the ability to build positive relationships and work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders. Ability to maintain records, files, and confidentiality. Must have a valid Kansas or Missouri Drivers License, in force automobile liability insurance, and meet the organizations insurability standard.
Preferred: Experience in educating/training adult learners, particularly in home nursing (e.g., hospice, home health, or palliative care).
