We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Educator! 

       Shodair is looking for someone who is passionate about training and educating our nursing personnel.  The Clinical Nurse Educator works to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel as indicated or requested.   The Clinical Nurse Educator supports a comprehensive education program for their assigned programs. Educational programs include but are not limited to; orientation, continuing education, and in-services. Other services may include, but are not limited to; process, performance improvement and service delivery-consultation and contributions through ad-hoc or permanently established councils, committees and workgroups.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Is a licensed RN in the state of Montana
• Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Can provide leadership and ongoing coaching and mentorship
• Can identify areas of improvement in current processes or trainings

Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; 

• Required education and experience—Associates degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience in academics or hospital-based education; or equivalent education and experience.
• Preferred education and experience—Bachelors degree in Nursing; 2 years of experience training or leadership in psychiatric care setting.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

• Credentials—Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana or any state recognized under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
