Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Shodair is looking for someone who is passionate about training and educating our nursing personnel. The Clinical Nurse Educator works to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel as indicated or requested. The Clinical Nurse Educator supports a comprehensive education program for their assigned programs. Educational programs include but are not limited to; orientation, continuing education, and in-services. Other services may include, but are not limited to; process, performance improvement and service delivery-consultation and contributions through ad-hoc or permanently established councils, committees and workgroups.
