As the Clinic Nurse Educator, with oversight and direction from the Clinical Quality Manager, you are responsible for coordination of medical practices activities with those of other hospital departments in support of the medical center's mission and vision. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of Department of Health and DNV accreditation regulations and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The educator works with other members of the department team to support educational programs, infection control initiatives, supply chain function and data collection. The educator ensures Department of Health and DNV regulations and policies are implemented in every physician practice and that policies and procedures are being followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current LPN Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania required or Associate Degree in a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience with supervision in office practices preferred
• Advanced computer skills, Healthcare Provider CPR, and ability to exercise sound judgement in quickly escalating emergency situations and rendering prompt decisions or to escalate issues as needed required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to organize information and ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality required
