Clinical Education Manager manages staff responsible for providing proactive healthcare education and coaching to plan members. Ensures the accurate delivery of various health education programs and materials designed for plan enrollees, employers, and providers. Being a Clinical Education Manager assists with monitoring, assessing, and reviewing educational programs for effectiveness. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Clinical Education Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Education Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Clinical Education Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. This hospital specifically has 215 patient beds, as well as a highly recognized Level III Trauma Center providing healthcare for the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.

    The Nephrology Unit Manager will carry lots of responsibility in the department including direction and leadership to staff as well as motivating and coaching them in order to attain hospital mission and vision. Previous experience in coaching and training staff members is highly encouraged for consideration at this time. The hospital is open to seasoned Supervisors, but the incoming Patient Care Manager must know how the reporting structure works and have experience overseeing FTES.

    It is is required that the Nephrology Unit Manager have the following in order to be considered;

    • Active BSN within 5 years of hire
    • Licensed in the state of New Mexico
    • Clinical Certification in Nephrology (preferred)
    • Self motivated and accountability
