A leading health system based in south Florida is now seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Emergency Services to help establish a new satellite center opening later this year!
This brand new satellite emergency center will house 18-beds and offer 24/hour emergency care in addition to radiology, laboratory, respiratory therapy, and triage services. This facility is expected to see patient volumes of 50 patients per day with expectation to increase upon opening. This facility will also transfer more critical patients to a local organization inpatient hospital as needed.
Reporting to the Nurse Director, the Nurse Manager Emergency Services will oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the satellite emergency center. The Nurse Manager will manage a team of 40 FTEs, ensure appropriate staffing, provide clinical training, participate in center recruitment, demonstrate fiscal responsibility, and support the needs of center leadership. This is a full-time position with M-F schedule 8am-4:30pm.
