Clinical Data Specialist designs and maintains clinical quality databases. Queries databases, creates reports and analyzes data to comply with regulatory reporting requirements and support improvements in clinical effectiveness. Being a Clinical Data Specialist defines and tests new measures, validates data, and takes steps to automate and improve the data collection process. Requires a bachelor's degree. Primary Job duties include:
o Collaborate with JIRA Epic Owners and Project Managers to log data impacts related to changes to assets and applications within the Risk & Finance Technology space, as well as validate that these impacts have been logged in appropriate systems of record
o Works with maintaining and executing EDM standards implementation plan for the domain across Capture, Transport and Use
o Ensure transparency and visibility to impacted business and technology teams
o Educate stakeholders on requirements per Enterprise Data Standards
o Issue data management Permit to Operate(PTO) approvals in the bank’s change management system
The ideal candidate will also be able to assist with the creation of visualizations and reporting (Tableau).
