The Senior Clinical Quality Data Specialist is responsible for overseeing the collection, organization and input of data and information obtained in the quality programs/systems for Hackensack Meridian Health. Responsible for leading the optimization, normalization and ensuring the clinical abstraction integrity for various clinical systems within the network. Will lead the use of various tools to gather, store and analyze data to assist teams in identifying process improvement opportunities. Demonstrates the primary components of expert clinical information analysis, consultation, and education; serving as a resource for outcomes data, data abstraction/extraction for data quality initiative measures, clinical registries, and care pathway development. This position will lead the enhancement of patient safety and quality by giving full representation to the needs of the clinical and medical staff. Acts as an expert clinical resource for clinical systems and serves as the liaison between the department of patient safety & quality and Digital Technology Services (DTS) and provides end-user functional support for applications to improve clinical care. Responsible for leading and building vendor relationships to optimize data collection.
