Clinical Administrative Coordinator jobs in Kentucky
Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within a hospital. Schedules employee shifts and ensures admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow. Being a Clinical Administrative Coordinator ensures that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner. Assigns patients to appropriate health practitioners. Additionally, Clinical Administrative Coordinator may perform other administrative functions as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Clinical Administrative Coordinator typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. The Evening Shift Cardiac ICU Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for oversight of a fast-paced and high acuity 24-bed intensive care unit, providing management of all staff on the overnight shift. The Nurse Coordinator CVICU RN will help to train, supervise, and educate ICU nursing staff, collaborating effectively to assist with team building and promote high quality patient care outcomes. This unit regularly sees patients requiring CRRT, Impella, TAVR, and ECMO, so experience with these devices is highly preferred. The Evening Shift Cardiac ICU Nurse Coordinator will also be responsible for staffing, scheduling, attending evening hospital huddles, and contributing to unit-based patient care initiatives.
