Schedules employee shifts and ensures admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow. Being a Clinical Administrative Coordinator ensures that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner. Assigns patients to appropriate health practitioners. Additionally, Clinical Administrative Coordinator may perform other administrative functions as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. The Associate Clinical Administrative Coordinator works under general and direct supervision to perform the various routine and complex clerical duties as defined in department operating procedures or supervisory instruction. Will work in a team environment and will be required to handle a high volume of transactions with a high level of accuracy.
The Associate Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for verifying eligibility for all patients having appointments at all clinics, or having services at outside facilities, contact new patients and existing patients to ascertain current insurance information and account information and determine if the various forms are current. The duties and responsibilities require advance knowledge of insurances, AIR knowledge and in-depth understanding of registration policies as noted in the Registration Manual.
This position is full-time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7am - 4:30pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 10425 Enterprise Drive Redlands, CA.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. On-site training in office. Upon completion of training period candidate can work remotely. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.
