An established critical access hospital located in northern Maine is currently searching for an experienced CRCST Coordinator of Sterile Processing Services to join their accredited healthcare team.

This organization provides access to world-class acute care services to a population of roughly 14,000 people. The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.

The Coordinator of Sterile Processing Services is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the hospital’s sterile processing program. The CRCST Coordinator ensures proper inventory levels in collaboration with the Materials Management team and the Surgical Services department, oversees the decontamination and sterilization processing of equipment dispensed by the central services department, and ensures alignment with all regulatory compliance initiatives.

Requirements Include

• Must possess CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
• Prior Supervisor experience preferred
• Minimum two years of prior working experience in central services
• Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality and support to the organizations mission, vision, and values
