This position is responsible for PCBA, Acoustic, and Wireless Test System/Test Fixture construction, validation, repair, maintenance, support, and some troubleshooting job under support of team engineers. This position is also responsible for misc. requests from team engineers during project development, such as product testing, data collection, and preliminary analysis. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Test Engineering and Manufacturing Support Jobs
Support the transfer of new designs into manufacturing
o Train production staff on all new and changed processes
o Create and approve engineering and production release documents
o Provide technical support to manufacturing
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical performance issues
o Check and verify quality
Maintain and support existing products and features
o Serve as a technical interface to Continuation Engineering
o Provide technical support to resolve issues pertaining to existing products
o Support Homologation Efforts
o Review product quality grid reviews / failure reports
Perform Lead Technician duties
o Mentor, coach, and provide work direction to technicians
o Train technicians on hearing aid design and product development process
JOB REQUIRMENTS
Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements
Education
o 2-year Electronic Technician degree/certificate or equivalent is desired.
* Experience
o Minimum of 5 years related experience as Electrical/Electronics technician
Knowledge/Technical Requirements
* Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required
* Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of product development processes for standard and custom products
required
* Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of standard and custom product manufacturing required
* Intermediate knowledge of ANSI, IEC, and homologation standards required
* Intermediate knowledge of geometrical tolerance desirable.
