Water Technologies Technician: Service, trouble shoot, improve water treatment accounts and to look for new contract & sales opportunities for Boland.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain and create client relationships.
• Prepare and submit work tickets / service reports after each regular service call
• Service accounts on a monthly schedule
• Schedule appointments with clients.
• Keep track of legionella testing schedules and corrosion coupon testing schedules.
• Pull water samples, properly fill out chain of custody forms and ship them.
• Be able to install all water treatment equipment. Calibrate and program chemicals and controllers.
• Keep all jobsite water treatment stations clean and in good working order.
• Load van with 50lbs pails of chemicals.
• Estimate the cost of installations
• Help with chemically cleaning chillers, heat exchangers and installations.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience and education
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Understand basic water chemistry, install and program conductivity controls systems preferred

- Preferred 1 - 3 years of experience in HVAC, water treatment, chemicals, or plumbing related industry

• Knowledgeable in MS Office and Outlook
• Strong communication skills, dependable, interpersonal skills with clients, organized, responsive
• Strong listening skills, motivated to learn, proactive, inquisitive
  

Physical Requirements:

• Mobility within office & job sites
• Ability to lift & carry up to 50lbs regularly & occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
• Willing to travel locally as required
• Frequent visits to job sites
• Specific vision required by this job include ability to see colors, close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
