MCS Office Technologies is a growing information technology company looking for a skilled individual for the role of IT Support Technician. The main purpose of this position will be to provide support for our customer’s IT infrastructure including, PCs, servers, routers, switches, servers, wireless access points, and video surveillance, along with providing recommendations for new technologies to improve their infrastructure.

MCS is looking for someone with a broad knowledge and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate would be someone that is self-motivated, task oriented, ability to multitask and can work efficiently on their own. A successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other technical support specialists.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability and desire to work with different types of technology and equipment
• Ability to maintain and manage existing infrastructures, along with diagnosing and correcting problems with third-party hardware/software vendors
• Implementation and deployment of new servers, routers, switches, wireless access points, workstations, printers, and other technologies
• Providing help desk support and onsite technical assistance to existing customers
• Ability to prepare documentation, diagrams and recommendations
• Knowledge of Information Technology concepts and best practices
• Assist sales team by determining the best solution for the customer

Experience

• Education: A High School Diploma is required. MCS would prefer, but not require a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other information technology related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Information Technology role.
• Certifications are not required, but are recommended
• Proficient understanding of many of the following: Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtualization, Microsoft Entra and Office 365, Networking, Video Surveillance

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
