    PROJECT OVERVIEW
    Execute changes and enhancements to SharePoint in Microsoft 365 site collection, encompassing the modernization of wiki and web part pages through the creation of contemporary site pages. Additionally, reconstruct classic publishing portals into modern publishing portals. This entails optimizing the utilization of modern lists and libraries, as well as site content and usage pages. Establish connections between sites and Microsoft 365 groups, identify security vulnerabilities, and implement protective measures. Furthermore, engage in knowledge transfer, training, and support for administrators and/or users of the system.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum four (4) years of proficient experience to aid in SharePoint within Microsoft 365 Management and Microsoft 365 Management.
    • Adept at working autonomously, upholding high professional standards with minimal supervision.
    • Capable of autonomously editing and maintaining SharePoint site pages, links, lists, and other related components.
    • Expert in diagnosing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint issues, discerning and rectifying root causes.
    • Skilled in conducting interviews with SharePoint site users, owners, and administrators to identify and address needs or concerns.
    • Able to analyze problems independently or in collaboration with programs, external vendors, and end users.
    • Possess the capacity to make decisions and exercise independent judgment in selecting appropriate courses of action after considering alternatives.
    • Offer technical support and training to Sharepoint administrators and application users.
    • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
    • Adherence to security policies is mandatory.

    PREFERRED

    • Strong understanding of IT best practices regarding Microsoft 365.
    • Experienced with Sharepoint, Sharepoint Modernization Scanner, and Readiness Toolkit is preferred.
    • Working experience at the state and federal government level is preferred.

    SCOPE OF WORK

    • Primary focus will involve enhancing and modernizing the SharePoint online site collection. This encompasses all Sharepoint online sites utilized and/or established by programs or groups, as well as resolving both existing and forthcoming errors or system issues.
    • Collaborate with the applications and database manager to assess and prioritize the current list of pending tasks for completion. They will offer precise system analysis to effectively identify any additional tasks, including those aimed at enhancing site usage, efficiency, and security.
    • Support the applications and database manager in devising the optimal approach for transferring ongoing tasks to the department and/or technical support staff.
