We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team and lead the construction process on our data center sites, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • As the Construction Manager for Data Center Construction Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from project inception to completion. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
    • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop detailed construction plans and schedules. Ensure that construction activities align with project goals, budget, and timeline.
    • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution. Work closely with subcontractors and vendors to achieve project milestones.
    • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the construction process. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client requirements.
    • Safety Oversight: Foster a strong safety culture on-site and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
    • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures and maintain a close eye on the budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project costs.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the construction process and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions.
    • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress and milestones, providing regular updates to senior management and clients. Prepare comprehensive progress reports and address any issues proactively.
    • Change Management: Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget effectively, ensuring that all changes are documented, communicated, and approved by relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of successful data center construction projects.
    • Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
    • Familiarity with data center construction specifications and requirements is highly advantageous.
    • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive teams towards project success.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders effectively.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Flexibility to work onsite five days a week and adapt to changing project demands
    • Ability to work onsite five days a week.
    • Permitting in Loudoun County, VA a huge plus!!
