Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain inventory management procedures and policies to ensure accurate and
efficient inventory control.
Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, including receiving, storage, tracking, and distribution.
Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing
excess or obsolete inventory.
Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, production, and sales, to forecast
and plan inventory requirements.
Utilize inventory management software to track and analyze inventory data, generate reports,
and identify trends or issues.
Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures to prevent loss, theft, or damage.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.
Work cross-functionally, with warehouse, accounting and other departments.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in inventory management.
Qualifications:
Experience with Prophet 21 software
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment strongly preferred
Three plus years of proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a technology or
manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
Proficiency in inventory management software and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
