Job purpose
Oversee the operations of various Clients. Work as liaison with clients, Client Service Managers and Vice President of Client Services.
Duties and responsibilities
• Manage and review accounts receivable
• Review all accounts receivable. Ability to identify billing and collection problems and offer solutions in fixing the problems.
• Oversee the operations of physician practice management groups including accounts receivable and payables, account analysis and management reporting.
• Responsible for assessing and advising upper management on Client Services issues, including both emergent and systemic.
• Work as liaison with clients and Account Managers in responding to their needs and requests on a timely basis.
• Prepare computerized account analysis activity reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Involved in new client start-up including helping to transition and train on-site staff, transition of workflow, arranging
billing set-up.
• Schedule and attend meeting with clients, on an ongoing basis, to review progress on account, problems, and accounts
receivables. Preparation of accounts receivable reports prior to meetings.
• Continually assess the Client Services department and develops/implements/assigns processes, procedures and projects
accordingly
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration with concentration in hospital/health services management, human
resources, or other related field. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
• Must have 5-10 years of medical billing experience.
• Experience with anesthesia billing necessary.
• Extensive travel required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheet software, database, and Microsoft Word or other word processing software needed.
• Excellent written and communication skills needed.
• Ability to prioritize workload needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to read handwritten and typed documents on paper and/or on computer screens. Position will require routine travel throughout the US.
