Client Services Director directs and oversees the implementation operations of an organization. Oversees a team responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Being an Client Services Director implements policies and creates procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality work. Ensures that the timelines, planning, scoping, and cost estimates support successful projects that meet the needs of the client organization. Additionally, Client Services Director tracks implementation timeliness and client issues and develops solutions to implementation problems or challenges. Develops team skills and expertise with coaching and training activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to senior management. The Client Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Client Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Position Summary 

    The Director, Client Services will oversee the management of region-based operations.  Achieve optimum labor and the least amount of overhead and resource costs. Oversee maximum efficiency in the design and output of processes and teams. Ensure deliverables operate at levels that meet customers' needs and established financial benchmarks. Formulate and recommend policies and programs that guide the Company in maintaining, retaining, and growing its competitive position and profitability. Direct activities so that approved deliverables are completed on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Line management of assigned location managers as required. 
    • Co-development and maintenance of all applicable RLX | Policies and Procedures 
    • Conducting location / site audits periodically to ensure upkeep of established standards. 
    • Develop and align functional goals with all sites serving appointed client. 
    • Review with team and report established KPIs to head of operations on a weekly basis. 
    • Communicate and direct all strategic RLX | Initiatives to employees within appointed function. 
    • Provide direct leadership in the Start-Up efforts for all new locations for appointed client. 
    • Work closely with resource development in the initial Motor Carrier recruiting effort as required. 
    • Ensure standard roles are filled with quality personnel through performance management system. 
    • Profit and Loss responsibility for assigned locations. 
    • Maintain strict accountability of all RLX.
    • Lead in recruitment and interviewing of RLX employees. 
    • Provide direct feedback to line manager for all employees working within assigned function. 
    • Leading and holding accountable the DM’s/GM’s in adherence to RLX | Processes and Policies 
    • Oversight and responsibility for claims and chargebacks to mitigate company exposure on financials.  
    • Site Audits 
    • Weekly KPI communication regarding delivery metrics

     

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 

    • 7 Years Experience with Final Mile Delivery Operations 

    • 2 Years Experience working within the industry associated with client 

    • 5 Experience working with project management tools ie. agile, ms project, etc 

    • 5 years’ Experience working with Motor Carriers and Warehouse Operations  

    • Strong Oral and Written Communication skills 

    • 7 years’ experience in leading people 

    • Basic proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
