Client Services Director directs and oversees the implementation operations of an organization. Oversees a team responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Being an Client Services Director implements policies and creates procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality work. Ensures that the timelines, planning, scoping, and cost estimates support successful projects that meet the needs of the client organization. Additionally, Client Services Director tracks implementation timeliness and client issues and develops solutions to implementation problems or challenges. Develops team skills and expertise with coaching and training activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to senior management. The Client Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Client Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. We help large retailers and consumer product brands transform the in-store shopping experience through the use of digital marketing and IoT solutions, backed by analytics to increase customer engagement and drive sales lift. We are seeking a Director of Finance and Accounting to lead the company financial activities.

    As the Director of Finance and Accounting, you will be responsible for the day to day and strategic direction of all aspects of finance and accounting for the Company. You should be a self starter who moves fast, manages timelines well, and thinks strategically about the business. Other responsibilities include:

    • Play a major role in obtaining and finalizing Series A fundraising efforts and debt financing efforts.
    • Elevate Finance and Accounting to a strategic planning tool by providing visibility into the drivers of growth and profitability in our business.
    • Own efforts like ERTC tax credit submissions.
    • Improve DART's reporting and tracking of KPI's from inventory management to labor productivity.
    • Own and manage financial modeling for the purposes of fundraising and management of capital.
    • Interface with investors and debt financing institutions.
    • Manage all accounting department operations.
    • Manage annual audit and tax return process with CPA firm.
    • Supervise all contract administration.
    • Maintain and strengthen internal controls

    To be considered, you will meet the following requirements:

    • Previous experience with an investor-backed startup, Venture Capital firm, or PE firm and experience with Seed and Series A stage financings is mandatory.
    • Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance required.
    • Approximately 7 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
    • Experience with Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods or Marketing Technology a major plus.
    • Mastery of Quickbooks Online and Excel modeling and analysis.
    • Ability to migrate to an ERP once DART outgrows Quickbooks.
    • Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
