Job Description:
The Director of Client Services is a proven revenue producer, capable of successfully listening to customers’ needs, identifying solutions that Bluewater can help with, and closing these opportunities. They will have an established track record of winning new accounts, retaining and growing existing accounts, both directly to brands or via agencies and production partners.
While they generally work independently, the ideal candidate will understand how to assemble productive, cross functional teams that get stuff done. The Director of Client Services will focus on creating live experiences in collaboration with customers. This would typically include experiential events, employee meetings, sales kick-off meetings, internal and external training programs, and virtual events.
The candidate will deeply understand events and be able to identify client objectives and will be an expert in translating technology and Bluewater’s integrated solutions into those requirements. They are extremely comfortable working with executives and high-profile projects, have strong entrepreneurial skills, and look for opportunities in the various stages of engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Owns pipeline creation and management and revenue production
- Teaches customers about experiential/tech design, and guides them through the decision-making process
- Collaborates with other sales team members on successful go-to market activities
- Collaborates with operations and support teams on projects
Skills and Experience:
- 7 years’ sales/account management experience, ideally within the Live Events industry
- Focused on sales opportunities and defining new sales avenues
- Business savvy, creative thinker, consultative approach
